Vallejo and Angel completely reworked the formula, and apparently, the new Game Colors have a more matt finish, improved opacity and pigmentation, and a longer working and drying time. They got a fancy new logo, and Angel Giraldez seems to have become Vallejo’s new brand ambassador, who also had great influence on the development of their new paint ranges, especially the new Game Color range.
In October 2022, Acrylicos Vallejo relaunched their brand for the release of their new Xpress Color and Game Color ranges.
